Here are a couple of pictures from January. We took a trip out to Cypress for a winter weekend and enjoyed a quiet, empty beach.
In January, we also built a retaining wall in our backyard. Liam was in heaven! He got to wear his new tool belt and be Daddy's little helper.

This photo is from a winter walk we took with some friends at a little preserve in Bellingham. Can you guess what happened right after this photo? That's right!! That is why I always carry extra clothes! :)
We took our friends up on their offer for a winter weekend at Mount Baker. We stayed the night at their cabin in Glacier and headed to the slopes the next day. It could not have been a more beautiful early spring ski day. We all had a blast and played for about 4 hours, riding the rope tow up and skiing down. Liam loved it and did great. Man....am I sore today! Here, Liam and Gabe ride the rope tow up Heather Meadows.
