Sunny afternoon

Amidst the painting project, I took a little break and came out on the porch for a cat nap. Gabe took these pictures.

With help from Lisette and Michael, Gabe and I were able to finish repairing our walls (thanks, Michael!!) and painting the front two rooms. Yes, it was a push (two days), but we got it done...just in time for my baby shower Sunday morning.

Memorial Day Weekend

We enjoyed a soggy, but fun Memorial Day Weekend out at Cypress. Liam had a great time with Drew and Ben. We enjoyed one of our final weekends away, sans bebe (or at least, bebe in belly) :)

The Sandbox

Our latest, and probably most appreciated, addition to the backyard. Liam's sandbox. One truck load of sand later and Liam is one happy boy.

The Parade of the Species

Last Saturday, Liam and I walked in the parade of the species. It is a very "Bellingham experience" - any species can join. The costumes were amazing. Liam donned his dinosaur costume from Halloween. I figure extinct species count too. Here is Liam running around before the festivities began.

The backyard

Whoops...I put these in reverse order. Oh well. Here is our new fence. The last few weekends, we put in the fence and this weekend, we finished the gates. Our backyard is nearly contained! Now, we need to plant some grass seed so we don't spend all summer in a dirt pile.
