Oops, these are a little out of order. The Easter Bunny visited Redmond early this year! We had an egg hunt mid-week and it was fun to see the boys dash about. Here is a picture of Liam, after the hunt, eating one of his treat-filled eggs.
Emma and I got away (just the mamas) for a morning hike this week. I was giddy from the sun and dry, sage-filled air. We hiked around Smith Rock and watched the rock climbers on the face. It felt great to get out on the trail and have a couple of hours to ourselves to catch up. Boy, I don't take these times for granted anymore! Thanks for a great week, Emma and Ethan!

Juniper Grove Goat Farm
While we were in Redmond, we visited a local goat farm, where they make cheese and sell goat milk. The farmer is a friend of Emma's and it was great fun to play with the "spring babies". Here, Liam and I meet "Wilma", who runs around the farm as she pleases. Liam is a big fan of Charlotte's Web, so he was quite thrilled to meet Wilma (who looks just like baby Wilbur).
Spring break in Oregon
Good friends
This past week, Liam and I drove down to Redmond, OR (near Bend), where our dear friends, Emma, Ethan, Calvin and little Bliss live. It was my spring break from work, so Liam and I spent the week hanging out in the high desert and enjoying time together. Calvin and Liam played well together all week and have a similar energy and humor. It was (tireless) fun!
Dinosaurs were a big theme this week for the boys, as was naked time...running around naked, taking baths....oh the stories we mamas will able to share when they are older :). Here, Liam and Calvin enjoy bathtime together....with dinosaurs, of course.

A week (or month) in review....
March was a long month - lots of rain, gray days and time inside (as well as blustery days at the park). Here are a few photos from the past few weeks.
Liam taking a moments rest during his swim class. It was great to be able to watch from the side now that he has graduated to the "Preschool Swim" level.
I found Liam giving this plant a "haircut". Which, actually, was OK because it is an old narcissus that was finished. Let's hope he doesn't try this on any friends!
