It is partly a survival tactic, and partly because it makes Liam so happy, but Liam likes/needs to be outside and "working"....regardless of the weather. It is only a matter of time before either Gabe or I (or Liam) is saying, "OK! Time to go outside!" Here are a couple pictures of Liam during a rainy weekend at Guemes, "helping" us with some yardwork. This is his newest tool - his "hoe". When we asked him the name of his hoe, he said, "Reuben" (his darling Uncle). Not sure Reuben would like being called Liam's "Ho/hoe".
